The Spiti Snow Leopard Experience

Your base is a tiny Himalayan village perched above 3,800 m (12,500 ft). Each morning, guided by expert spotters, you’ll hike to vantage points where fresh tracks or calls have been detected. Afternoons bring silent vigils across ridge lines, scanning for the solitary cat against stark rock faces. Evenings offer simple yet hearty Tibetan meals and the warm hospitality of local homestays.

With dedicated trackers and prime territory, this expedition offers one of the world’s highest chances to see the elusive snow leopard in its natural realm.

Your Itinerary Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Delhi. Overnight in a luxury hotel.
Day 2: Morning flight Delhi → Chandigarh. Begin two‑day scenic drive toward Spiti, overnight en route.
Day 3: Continue by road; reach the high‑altitude village base, settle in, acclimatise.
Days 4‑9: Daily treks with spotters; morning and afternoon snow‑leopard stake‑outs; cultural interactions in the village.
Day 10: Depart village, drive toward Chandigarh; evening flight to Delhi; trip concludes.
Optional: Extra acclimatisation night in the foothills on request.
